Our story...Keith's version

Sometimes I wonder if I’m normal. Many times throughout my life I have dreamed of living in Africa. Of course I wanted to see the sights, the exotic animals and colorful cultures. Mostly, I wanted to help the people there by giving back a small part of many blessings God has provided throughout my life.
I am 46 years old, married with 3 children, ages 12, 10 and 5 and am the CEO of a large health care facility. Dreams of Africa have long ago been filed safely under youthful folly. Several years ago Ellen (my wife) and I began to sense a need for change in our lives, but had no real idea or direction to follow. In early 2004 we began to feel God leading us to work with HIV education and prevention in Africa. These topics kept coming up at church, with friends and at work.
